Rest Don’t Quit

If you get tired, learn to rest and not to quit. – Banksy

Life is complex and tiring as it is. It does not get any easier when you commit yourself to personal growth and be a great parent leader. The challenges still come, and you have to get creative to take on your family’s different situations. When you commit to growth and parentship (parent leadership), what does happen is you understand your purpose.

When you understand your purpose as a person and a parent, you find extra strength to bring to your family. Even with this extra strength in purpose, you will still get tired in your journey. This is normal, and in a way, it is good. It means you are pushing yourself to become better.

When this time in your life comes, don’t quit. Learn to rest and rejuvenate yourself to get back on the road. This rest can come in a lot of different ways. Maybe it is a weekend getaway. It might be a simple hobby you pick up that lets you get away for a bit each week. Find what works and put it in place. Never quit, never give up, but learn to rest.
