Leadership starts in the home

Start Small and Build

Instead of waiting to start big, start small so that you can grow big.

Nicky Verd

The hardest part of any journey is the first step. It takes a lot of force to get the momentum going when you take on hard things. That’s why so many people don’t make it out of the starting gate. We have such grand visions of ourselves and our families, but it is hard work to make them come to life.

This is why we should start because it is hard. If we understand when we see hard work in our means, we are doing something big. We are creating something worthwhile. We are adding to our legacy our attitude with hard work would change. When we see hard work ahead, we know there is a chance for us to touch our greatness.

You don’t have to start big. Start small and build upon your progress each day. Even if it is hard to get the momentum going once you get there, it is easier to keep the momentum going. Run towards the hard work of creating your version of a great family. Take on the hard work of creating greatness in your own life and in your home. Start small today so you can grow big.
